Will there be an Octopath Traveler PC release?

Octopath Traveler is a JRPG, which tells a story of eight different travelers, each with unique qualities. Since its release, the game has only seen positive responses from the public. It is no surprise that the game — developed by Square Enix and Acquire — has become so popular in such a short time span.

Currently, the game is only exclusive to Nintendo Switch, and the fans can’t help but ask if Octopath Traveler is ever going to come to PCs.

Honestly, we don’t think there will be an Octopath Traveler PC version. Although Square Enix does have a track record of supporting PCs as a platform for their JRPGs, the game has been a Nintendo Switch exclusive from the beginning to the end.

However, even if the developers tried to make the game available on other platforms, there’s still one stumbling block — Nintendo. The publisher of Octopath Traveler has a finicky track record — they don’t seem to have a good history with PC versions of games.

We really think there’s hardly any chance that Octopath Traveler will make it to PC. But then again, you never know what the future holds.
